444. Slave Monument, Rev. W.F. Wade, Valdosta, Television, News Paper, and ......

This area is for Valdosta Slave Monuments and Confederate statues in Georgia, Nation, and around the world. A history that some would rather be stored beneath the rubbish pile of time. But when truth comes falsehood must vanish and falsehood is forever a vanishing thing.

I, (George Boston Rhynes) went along with two Valdosta Citizens to Taylor County Georgia for a protest March on 11/13/2006. The history of this problem will be added LATER.

These are a few of the pictures taken during the march. The march started outside of the County Court House. We marched around the building and entered from the east. Then we marched through the courthouse pass the displayed plaques "Colored and White" as the State President Edward DuBose pointed to them. He stopped on the steps at the west end of the building where the crowd assembled themselves for several speakers.

Unlike the media across the State of Georgia who as usual cannot count Black People. They reported that about fourty people were at the event. I personally counted sixty-nine people at the event, and I missed a few. I have learned over the years that White people down south in inparticular cannot count what they do not want to see.

Therefore I did my own count. I learned this from a protest march that took place in Valdosta, and Lowndes County Georgia in 1998. When the local media said that 1500 people marched on the Valdosta and Lowndes County Jail when inmate Willie James Williams died in the Lowndes County Jail following a routine traffic stop. When any person of average intelligence could see that there were three thousand people that marched on the Lowndes County Jail because during this protest march.

So I learned many years ago that Balck People must do their own count and perform their own research and investigations.

The Georgia State President Edward DuBose asked that I attend this historical protest march. And I must report that it was a very profound gathering of concerned Americans.

Please visit this site later for the rest of the story. This just the begining.
